Alchemical Arts reflects how I work and what I value in my studio practice. I begin with materials that are part of both my personal history and the world around us — plaster, wax, and natural elements tied to place. Through building, dissolving, heating, and refining, these familiar substances transform into something new. The process itself is a kind of alchemy: ordinary materials shifting into artwork that holds memory, presence, and connection.
